VIKRAMSHILA INTERNATIONAL
SPACE ORGANIZATION
Vikramshila International Space Organization (VISO) is a space technology company founded in 2024 by Mr. Amardeep Singh and a group of like-minded individuals. Based in Delhi NCR, India, VISO is focused on training, research, and the development of innovative solutions in space engineering. The company aims to contribute to advancements in space technology through satellite platforms and space-based research initiatives.

VISION FOR THE FOCUS:
VISO’s goal is to revolutionize the space technology landscape in India and globally by contributing to space-based solutions for communication, Earth monitoring, weather forecasting, and remote sensing. With its planned research facility, VISO aims to be at the forefront of space technology development, offering training and fostering innovation in these critical fields.

KEY AREAS OF FEATURES:
1.Satellite Platforms: VISO is actively working on building application-agnostic satellite platforms that can be adapted for various purposes across different industries.

2.Space Technology Training & Research: The company is setting up a Space Research & Development Centre over 50 acres in Banka, Bihar. This facility will serve as a hub for training, research, and innovation in space technologies. The center aims to foster knowledge in fields like satellite communications, remote sensing, Earth observation, and more.

3.Specialized Fields:
Remote Sensing: VISO aims to enhance capabilities in remote sensing, which involves acquiring data about objects and phenomena from a distance without physical contact. This technology is crucial for applications in Earth observation, environmental monitoring, and planetary exploration.
Communications Satellites: VISO focuses on satellite technology that supports telecommunication, using transponders to relay and amplify signals between transmitters and receivers on Earth.

Weather Satellites: VISO is engaged in the development of satellites used to monitor weather patterns and climate, contributing to the global efforts in weather forecasting and environmental research. These satellites can be in polar or geostationary orbits.
Geostationary Orbit (GEO): VISO explores satellite technologies that function in geostationary orbit, which is positioned 35,786 km above Earth’s equator. This orbit allows satellites to stay in a fixed position relative to the Earth’s surface, making it ideal for communications and weather monitoring.

Earth Observation Satellites: VISO is focused on Earth observation satellites that monitor the planet for applications such as environmental monitoring, meteorology, and cartography. These satellites can be used for both military and non-military purposes.
Low Earth Orbit (LEO): VISO’s research also includes technologies for satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO), which is the most commonly used orbit for artificial satellites. These satellites typically operate at altitudes up to about 2,000 km and play a role in various applications including communications, Earth observation, and scientific research.
